The For A Better Day Foundation (FABD) is pleased to announce that The White House is awarding Leslie Bravo - Founder and President at FABD and CEO at Medical Essentials LLC, its President's Lifetime Achievement Award on October 15, 2022.
Honoring her remarkable leadership and service, Leslie Bravo is receiving this presidential recognition for her long commitment to building stronger communities through volunteerism. Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The annual awards honor a select few who “exhibit outstanding character, work ethic and dedication to their communities”

This is the highest civil volunteerism award that's presented by the President of the United States.
Ms. Bravo was nominated for the award by Dr. Dee Thompson, renowned community leader, International Coach who received and currently holds the Key to the City of Lauderhill in Broward County, Florida.
The President's Lifetime Achievement Award was created in 2003 by executive order by President George W. Bush for individuals who have volunteered more than 4,000 hours of service to communities across the country. It was established after September 11 to recognize the service and civic contributions of Americans to their local communities.
